Thanks for your interest in Top Tackle.  I'm Joel Tinker, your guide.  I started Top Tackle a few years ago with a simple idea - to give my clients, using technique, energy and innovation, the best possible chance of having a quality fishing outing at an affordable price!  With that goal in mind, I'm pleased to say that I can now expand my guiding into pike, walleye, bass, and panfish.  As with my musky fishing, I have scoured Northwest Wisconsin to put together the BEST waters in the area.  And as always, I place special importance on those that offer my clients true TROPHY potential for all species.  Whether you are interested in catching an all-time best fish or just getting some good quality action, I will have ample options available for you.

Your fishing platform will consist of an 18ft Tuffy Renegade, a wide, stable, yet, low to the water craft from which to fish.  I run quiet, smoke-free Evinrude 4-stroke motors (important if trolling is our preferred method of the day).  Outings are planned around your wishes and schedule.  This is one reason that I have NO PRESET HOURS!  We fish the best times on the day you hire me which gives you the best shot at having a successful trip.  Whether you are looking to boat a 30# class musky, 20# pike, 10# walleye, trophy Large Mouth or Small Mouth Bass, or just some slab crappies or gills, the waters I focus on and the techniques I employ will maximize your chances of boating that personal best.  And if faster action is what you prefer, there are many lakes and rivers in the area that consistantly produce action for all species.  Let me put my 30 plus years of fishing experience to work for you!
